Dr. Joseph Audie is a Professor of Biochemistry at Sacred Heart University. Inspired by his wife, Nicole, and motivated by personal experiences, including his own health journey and his mother’s diagnosis of cortical basal degeneration, Dr. Audie co-founded Novus Health and Wellness with his brother-in-law, Peter. As an MD Hyperbaric franchise, Novus Health and Wellness is the sole provider of medical-grade hyperbaric oxygen therapy for both on-label and off-label indications in Central Connecticut. Dr. Audie holds a PhD in Physiology and Biophysics from SUNY Stony Brook, an MS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, and a BS in Bioengineering from Hofstra University. His scientific research focuses on computational biophysics and drug design, and he also lectures and conducts research examining the relationship between Christianity and science. Dr. Audie resides in Cheshire with his wife and two children.
